VHSL

hello one and all.
on saturday i was at Robert E Lee High School (Tyler's school) in the VHSL one-act district competition thingy. It was lots and lots of fun and i got to say hey to Tyler even though i was pretty busy because we weren't prepared at all. dispite that we still placed 2nd with "White Room of My Remembering" and we're going to regionals! Two of my friends and fellow cast members got honorable mentions for being wonderful actresses and i got runner up for best actor! I think that Lee high should have gotten 1st... but sadly the got 3rd.

Regionals is going to be on the 18th at James Wood High School (i think thats what its called.) so if any of you live around there and know where that is you should come out and watch some great shows. It's all day so you don't really have to worry about times.

SO i am freaking out. On the list Doreen sent out of those who ordered DVDs, my name wasnt on it!! And i was 99.9% sure that I had ordered one. (To be scientific)

On the issue of OTHELLO... I agree with Emma. Just someone pick a date, and if it works for some, COOL! And if it doesnt work for some folks, then NOT COOL. BUT WE ALL will eventually end up seeing it with some memeber of YCTC (hopefully). YESH!

SO. Once we get the DVD's, I think we should all get together at my (or other location) house and watch the shows again and have a big reunion.

Ok...brief little news flash on my Complete Works escapades:
1) My part=Daniel during R&J scene=ROMEO. Heeheehee...
2) We ARE allowed to do it...with the price of a wee bit more censorship, a very brief sampling of which is:
Needless to say, no more sa-sa-saaaalaaami.
And quite sadly, no more "yo butt-love, over here"
Plus some actual Shakespearean text from R&J was cut, which is the thing that really makes me go "Grrrrr." But life will go on, I suppose.

It's ALIVE!

i AM alive! a thousand apologies for having not posted in what feels like DECADES. of course, when i say DECADES, i mean august. i sent out a mass email just the other week, and it has been great to have been getting emails from everyone. many MANY thanks for all the calls/cards/ecards, etcetera on mah birthday. i finally feel older now. 15! yeh! you guys make me feel so warm and fuzzy on the inside. mmm.

so whats everyone up to? eh? i dont know when i will be able to see Othello, and i am starting to fret. eek. it'll work out, i s'pose. oh wait... it HAS to work out. this is OTHELLO we're talkin' bout.

ok so scary story? (and just because i feel random)i lost my flip flops the other day. it wasnt even funny. but i found them and it's all good.

so YES! school is healthy and busy. healthfully busy. my english class gets better EVERY day. OH! and ive joined the writing club, and ive written some poetry. which is fun. perhaps i'll get around to posting some of it.

ok OK! enough blabble. i love you all with ecstatic joy, and for those of you who live close by, visit! call! i want to see all ya-all! (rhymes! mmm..)

Ixnay on the Eleventhyay

Yeah, see. I MUST SEE YOU ALL AGAIN. Seeing Othello on the 11th would NOT ALLOW ME TO DO THAT. Now, I know this isn't just about me, because people have said they can't make the 11th, but I did post the original comment saying the 11th, so I feel it is my duty to RETRACT SAID STATMENT. NO. BAD DOG. GRR.
I can't wait for the DVDs. Hope all you crazies have fun at the Ren Faire! Eat large shoulders of meat for me. ;D

I have convinced my French, Creative Writing, and International Club (of which i'm VP as of today. woot!) that we should go see MND, or Cyrano. So, we'll be hitting THAT up in Frederick. Oh baby.
